These are selected from the first wall pieces I made as Zazu’s Stitch Art, which had been Zazu’s Buttons. Starting in about 2006, my pieces featured raw-edge quilting, an area that was wide-open for exploration at the time. Much of what I saw being done with raw edges didn’t satisfy my aesthetic. I set out in search of something that would. I want to thank all of those buyers who supported me by taking these pieces into their homes and offices. I likely never would have gained control of my medium without your openness to the work in progress.
